The mission of CGTV is to increase citizen awareness, understanding and participation in all areas of municipal governance from the neighborhoods to City Hall providing information about city government services and programs in order to make them more accessible to Garland citizens. In addition, CGTV documents the business of city government with live coverage of City Council meetings, Council Work Sessions, Plan Commission meetings and future meetings as directed by City Council and Staff.

Important AnnouncementAs of September 18, 2006, the City of Garland's government access cable programming will be found on Time Warner (formerly Comcast) cable channel 16. CGTV Program is also available on Verizon FIOS TV channel 44.
