The City of Garland Environmental Waste Services Department has contracted with ERecycler, LLC to collect and refurbish electronic equipment collected through the City of Garland Electronic Recycling Collection Event scheduled on Texas Recycles Day, Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Parking Lot of South Garland High School located at 600 Colonel Drive, Garland, TX 75043.
ERecycler, LLC personnel will collect the following electronic waste and charge Garland residents no more than $5 per CRT monitor, $10 per Television, and 15-cents per pound of other electronic equipment for services outlined below:
Acceptable Items: Cables; CD Rom Drives; Circuit Boards; Chips; Computer Books; Computer Systems; Digital Video Disc Players; Digitizer & Drawing Boards; Disk Drives; External Drives; Fax Machines; Hard Drives; Keyboards; Laptops; Modems; Monitors; Mouse Components; Phone Systems; Printers; Processors; Radios; Scanners; Software; Stereo Components; Telephones; Video Cassette Recorder Players; Copiers; Furniture Consoles for Stereos & TVs; Ham Radio Equipment; Line Printers; Mainframe Equipment; Mini-Systems; Radios; Telex Machines; Terminals; Word Processors
Furniture and other types of appliances will not be accepted.
