Welcome to the City of Garland's department page.  The various departments are set up in six major categories: 

City Administration includes the various administrative departments that handle budget, fleet, human resources, purchasing, and much more. 

Community Services covers the City's health department, animal services, housing and neighborhood services, code compliance, and the Day Labor Center.

Under Development Services, you will find building inspection, planning, engineering, transportation and streets, and stormwater management

Public Safety will link you to police, fire and emergency management information.

Public Works/Utility Services takes you to water and wastewater services, electric, solid waste and recycling, as well as customer service.

Recreation and Cultural Services encompasses the library, parks and recreation, and the City's arts programs.
